第５回目の今回は、フリーペーパーVol.5（P7）及びウェブ（要約記事）でご紹介したフィリピン初シリアル・パーラー、Cerealicious（シリアリシャス）の記事をご紹介します。
～Nutritious and delicious!!!～
The country’s first and only cereal bar is a unique concept store that showcases Filipino talent. Cerealicious gives a new twist on an otherwise mundane breakfast item. Forget cereal doused with ordinary milk, Cerealicious’ menu plays with ingredients that will surely awaken the kid in you.
Names of their products are also derived from blockbuster movies that will surely make you laugh. With its special blend of milkshake (with 7 secret ingredients!) as the base of every Cerealicious Trailer (small bowl) and Blockbuster (big bowl) you create your own special combination with various cereals, fruits, chocolate, cookies and even ice cream!
Although, you can also choose among their extensive menu which included items for chocolate lovers like Oreo + Juliet, Pirates of the Cadbury-ean or About A-Hoy or for health buffs (try Erin Brocko-Peach and Banana Jones and the Temple of Doom). We tried Harry Butter, Finger of Azkaban which has milkshake, Honey Crunch, Butterfinger, candy sprinkles and chocolate syrup and it was really delicious. The Banana Jones and the Temple of Doom is a winner with its milkshake, Kellog’s Special K, fresh bananas and raisins (which can be optional!) Aside from their cereal bowls, they also offer Ice Cream Liners which are classice banana split sundaes with a cereal twist, fruity Oatmeals and Milkshake remakes of the Blockbuster bowls.
The Jelly Maquire milkshake is like a jelly frappuccino while the Jumango is very refreshing with its fresh mangoes. It also has an interesting texture because of the honey crumble. What we love best about Cerealicious is the experience.
